Sun Valley, CA, US 01/05/2001 - Elan Contemporary Furnishings expands it's collection of designs by H. Studio.

The art of Shlomi Haziza was presented in two consecutive shows Friday December 8th and Saturday December 9th. Quite a gathering came to view Haziza's work and to commemorate the opening of Elan's newest Urban Showroom.

Brilliant color is the main attraction with Haziza's acrylic sculptures, pedestals and studio furniture. Many new designs were shown, such as the Butterfly Sculpture and the Dancing Sculpture. In attempts to bring new media into his work, Haziza has added metals such as stainless steel and brushed aluminum to many of his new designs, these were shown as well.

There were many gifts given to those who gathered. Autographed catalogs of Haziza's work as well as bright and colorful Tic-Tac-Toe game sets. A custom designed landscape sculpture, which is an interpretation of the Midwestern Plains, with an estimated value of $5000 was given to the lucky winner of a sweepstakes, drawn following the event.

Elan Showrooms have been presenting Haziza's artwork for nearly eight years with continuing success. This event marks the bringing of an expanded collection of designs by Haziza to their showrooms.
