Sun Valley, CA, US 06/10/2001 - ArtExpo at Cantoni's Houston and Dallas showrooms.

Dates for the event are June 16-17 in Houston and June 23-24 in Dallas, taking place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Cantoni celebrates art and contemporary design with an ArtExpo featuring such innovative creators as Thomas McCoy, Sebastian Alterera, Niso, Emanuel, John Douglas, JoAnn Delomba, Shuan Athari and Gundi.

"The highlight of the [show] will be various sculptures and art designs by internationally renowned Shlomi Haziza of H.Studio in Sun Valley, Calif. Famous for incorporating rich colors and metal accents in his sculptures through the use of acrylics, Shlomi will also have a special showing and visit on Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Cantoni showroom in Houston and Dallas."

On Saturday evening of the Expo, the festivities will include fine foods, music and a selection of beverages. Admission is free and all guests are encouraged to visit with Shlomi during his special appearance on Saturday. Cantoni will be giving away a "modern-day" Tic Tac Toe set, designed by Shlomi, with the purchase of any H.Studio sculpture.

"The artwork showcased during our two-day expo, will demonstrate all styles and expressions,"
Said Michael Wilkov, Cantoni founder and president.
"Not only will Cantoni provide an exclusive contemporary showroom for the painters and sculptors during the event, but all of the art pieces are popular items that Cantoni features on a daily basis.
Cantoni is interested in giving clients and guests an opportunity to meet reknowned art designers, such as Shlomi, in person.
The prospect of visiting with the creator himself is a chance of a lifetime."
The following pieces will be on display during the two-day expo and are highlights of the Cantoni showroom:
- Hurricane Sculpture by Shlomi.
This design is an artful display sculpture of clear acrylic.Shlomi has mastered the sophisticated use of acrylic by using color, powders and sculpting techniques to bring out the inner fire of acrylic.
- Dancing Sculpture by Shlomi.
Unveiled at the 2001 New York ArtExpo, this sculpture relies solely on multi-colored acrylic and has an illusion of motion,
while changing color depending on the observer’s point of view.
- Night Sculpture by Shlomi.
A deep, black sculpture set in abstract form is one of Cantoni’s popular in-house design pieces on display.

Cantoni Showrooms have been presenting Haziza's artwork for almost 10 years with continuing success. This event marks the bringing of an expanded collection of designs by Haziza to their showrooms.
