Studio has announced the appointment of Mr. Irving Simons to the newly formed position of Gallery Director. H. Studio and artist, Shlomi Haziza, creators of innovative works of fine art ranging from acrylic sculptures, pedestals, fashion-forward furniture, and now, original paintings in mixed media and artwear including ties and scarves, have announced the appointment of Mr. Irving Simons as Gallery Director. Mr. Simons comes to H. Studio with over 25 years of Fine Art and Custom Framing experience. He will be working side by side with Mr. Haziza, the Gallery's exclusive artist, and Alina Chem, Haziza's Vice President of Marketing. The scope of Mr. Simons' experience spans many years with a wide range of highly talented and well-known artists. A number of famous celebrity art careers have flourished while working with his invaluable knowledge. He has represented artists such as Anthony Quinn, Red Skelton, Robert Shields, Marilyn Michaels, Walter Lanz, Hoyt Axton, Jonathan Winters, Xavier Cougat, and Elkie Summer. Several galleries have been developed and owned by Irving throughout his career. During the 1970's he formed a business called "Celebrity Art Gallery" where much of his experience with publishing and representation began. He was the first concessionaire of fine art at a major department store, a concept within the art world, which he originated. He published the first poster for the King Tut Exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in 1978 and M.H. de Young Museum in San Francisco in 1979. While working with Haziza, Simons intends to publish, license and exhibit Shlomi's original artwork internationally. Growth and expansion are key to plans that Haziza, Chem and Simons have worked out together.
